Hi everybody and thanks for visiting my blog!

I bet you are all wondering what is up with the name, right? No, I haven't lost my mind — at least, not yet. 

I'll get to the name later, but first let me tell you why I decided to start this blog in the first place. Of course, the main reason is to keep everyone posted on Baby Girl Sayre — who we will fondly refer to as simply BGS until she arrives. After all, I am sure you will all be waiting anxiously at your computer to see the 15 pictures I take of her everyday and hear about how all her feedings and poops are going. It's not like you have something better to do, right? Right?

But more importantly, I am writing this blog simply so that I keep writing! Apparently, babies take up a lot of time and energy —and being that I am writer I want to keep up with my craft and try to maintain some semblance of sanity. So thank you to everyone in advance for reading my sleep-deprived rants over the next few months. We can't wait to introduce you all to our little girl!
